Why I Love Theory
Year after year, season after season, I buy Theory clothes. I love the classic style, neutral colors and flattering fit. And this season’s collection is gorgeous! Here are some of the cutest looks in this season’s collection available at Saks Fifth Avenue. I want to buy every single one!
(P.S. Can you tell I like their dresses?)
Here are a couple more looks from Neiman Marcus:
And one more from Bloomingdales:
Celebrity Check Plus: Kristen Bell in Etro at the Do Something Awards
Kristen Bell looked fabulous at Sunday night’s Do Something awards. She wore a black embellished Etro dress, Casadei pumps and Neil Lane jewels–and she looked amazing! It’s no secret I’m a big fan (I watched ‘You Again’ twice!) but she was by far the best dressed on the Do Something Awards red carpet.
Isn’t the embellishment gorgeous? And I think the one-shoulder design is really fun and unique. Etro always makes such cool clothing. I lovelovelove it! What do you think: Do you like Bell’s dress?
Fashion Yay or Nay: Jumpsuits
At the premiere of ‘The Change-Up’ in Los Angeles Monday night, Sandra Bullock made a surprise appearance on the red carpet–wearing a strapless, full-length black Lanvin jumpsuit. More and more celebrities are appearing on red carpets in full-length jumpsuits–which begs the question: are they cute?
Here are a couple recent looks. What do you think?
Sandra Bullock in Lanvin
Olivia Wilde in Emporio Armani
Kristen Bell in TopShop
Kim Kardashian in Roberto Cavalli
After reviewing the different looks, I’ve decided I’m not a big fan of the full-length jumpsuit. That said, of those pictured, Sandra and Kirsten rock the look best. Olivia looks like she’s about to grant somebody three wishes, Jessica looks like a tablecloth and Kim looks… well… ridiculous.
Shorter jumpsuits, however, don’t bother me as much. This one is actually really cute.
Jessica Szohr in Sparkle & Fade
Hot Shoe Alert! Giuseppe Zanotti Patent Leather Peep-Toe Mary Jane Pumps
Alert. Alert. Alert. We interrupt your normally-scheduled blog post to inform you about some incredibly hot new shoes. These aren’t just any old shoes. They are drop dead gorgeous, sky-high black patent leather heels that will make people gasp in awe should you wear them.
Do you feel adequately warned? Because here they are…. Giuseppe Zanotti Patent Leather Peep-Toe Mary Jane Pumps ($650, Saks Fifth Avenue.)
AREN’T THEY INCREDIBLE? I realize they are reminiscent of the YSL Tribute Mary Janes that I also love but these are just fabulous. I love the covered platform and the shape of the peep toe. Just perfection. I think they might be a $100 or $200 cheaper too.
What do you think? Hot or not?
